Vicky, but she prefers to be called Victoria, wants to become a country music star. She already composes and performs her own songs, but like many aspiring artists, she still lacks visibility. To get her first stage experience, she contacts Rob (Chad Alva), the owner of a bar/restaurant where many truckers stop to rest and eat while listening to local artists. This place should be the ideal launchpad Victoria needs. She may not be paid for her performances, but at least she will be housed, fed, and have her laundry done. Despite their differences and Rob's apparent roughness, they will discover that their life paths may not be as far apart as they seem.
